Saint Brigid Acacemy Branding
Challenge
Previously, besides the navy blue color along with a white font there wasn't much to Saint Brigid Academy identity. So, with the modern transition from a traditional Catholic school to a more inclusive one it was necessary to modernize it
Challenge: how to maintain same design look as other schools while maintaining a certain individuality? we can't stray too far from what is already common within the educational sector while we also can't afford to be invisible to the public eye.
Outcome & Learning
With Saint Brigid Academy's transition from a school to an academy was it not only necessary to redesign the website but also create a common brand-identity which represent both the Catholic and inclusive elements of the school .
Key finds from parents:
A school's color is just as important as the pictures on a flyer
Hierarchy of the most to least important things
A clear and detailed explanation of what makes SBA stand-out
Typography
Poppins is the main typeface used across Saint Brigid Academy's branding. There's an even split amongts educational organization between Serif vs Sans-Serif, however, much newer schools tend to use Sans-Serif which is where Poppins fits in.

Color
These colors were the schools original colors. However, various tweaks and changes were made to the Navy Blue which previously had a much more static purple tone to it which made it look dated, however this version fits in with the current mission.

Strategy
Research branding styles various schools and educational organizations use, ensure that similar elements are present while keeping SBA unique in its own way.
Design
Once the font and color choice were stablished, it was all about keeping it simple while effectively communicating our mission, what we specialize in and why you should join us.
Testing
Various mockups and text hierachy positing were tested with our current enrolled parents and that information was used to maximaize the attraction a flyer can have.
